I want to do the secrets so badly, but it's impossible to find competent people wanting to run them, once the true sworn Motif started dropping it officially killed off any chance of me getting that momento forever.Īt least you can get the momento in MOS solo, but that'a not gonna happen with BDV. The only people willing to do the BDV secrets now are dps that hits like a wet noodle, tanks that can't block and healers that afk half the time. Pug it and ask if they want to do secret? People either say no or just flat out say nothing and proceed to skip half the mobs.Īsk in guild? I'm literally in 2 dungeon guilds. #MOS SPEEDRUN 2 SECRETS REDDIT FULL#īoth guilds are nearly full and are dedicated to earning 4 man achievements. One even have an addon made to track 4 man achievements. And guess what? Still can't find a single soul willing to do them.ĭon't really get ZOS's obsession with adding these secrets, the only people that will see them are the people doing the new dungeons on the first day. These secrets are as much of a waste of ZOS's effort as dungeon quests. The secrets don’t add anything besides flavour and a fantastic difficulty increase. The flavour is cool enough to get hyped about doing it with friends/guildies, but will never been enough to convince all the dungeon finder users to do the secrets most of the time. The difficulty increase is enough to incentivize you to get a group together outside of the dungeon finder to make a serious attempt at the hard mode version. ![]() But it’s too hard to even feel worth it with the majority of groups the Finder gives you.īlack Drake Villa did it right by giving the overpowered group res after clearing the first secret boss. I think if that was an expected reward from all secret bosses, but only remained active until the following Main Boss fight, then you’d get a lot more chances to do secrets with PUGs, because the best way to PUG a difficult dungeon would be to do each secret boss to unlock the group res for the following main boss fight. ![]() ![]() And ZOS could continue giving all the honestly super cool buffs from secret bosses as well. I still love the flamethrower you get from one of the Red Petal Bastion secret bosses, but I’m not going to offer to do that with PUG groups because I’m often in that dungeon to fulfil one of the daily checklist things that ZOS gives us (pledges) instead of being in there to poke around at fun mechanics. Some days I’m in the mood for both, but the reality is that with 4 people in the group there’s usually going to be 1 or 2 people not getting to do the dungeon the way they’d prefer. And if we’re playing a multiplayer game then we need to be okay with that reality because that’s how socializing with people works. The secret bosses are added so that players don’t have to kill 5 bosses before reaching the last boss, like in previous dungeons. Lair of Marseelok or March of Sacrifices are an instant „nope, I’m out“ for many that do random normals. Because they are super long and take forever. I like the fact they give you the opportunity to do more bosses, that ate optional, but don’t force you to spend half an hour in a single dungeon. Unless you are doing the Hardmode, the secret bosses are a waste of time in any of the dungeons. The costume system is back and better than ever. And I would NEVER attempt a HM in a vet DLC with a pug. If you are an expert, you can search for the Gold Skulls hidden on each level, the only way to get to them is through dangerous secret areas. Prefer collecting? Try to collect all the coins hidden around the levels. You decide how you want to play: Like speed? You can try to beat the speedrun time on every level. You aren’t alone in this new adventure, you can race your friends' best speedrun times, they appear as ghosts that run along right beside you, fighting every inch of the way for the fastest time. This time Mos has learned some awesome new abilities: Swing on ropes, swim through jelly, push blocks, wall jump, and fight through spider webs to reach the end of a level. Wall-jump to victory through 30 mysterious, action packed levels! Mos is back, in her biggest and most exciting adventure ever! "MOS Speedrun 2 is a fantastic speed running game." ![]() "If you like platformers of any kind, speedrun or not, you should definitely check out Mos Speedrun 2" ***** Touch Arcade Game Of The Week! 5/5 Stars
